This is a beautiful piece that measures 3-3/4" in diameter and is about 1" tall.
This was Originally designed by Rene Lalique in 1927 as an ashtray. Based on the form of the signature, we know that this piece was manufactured sometime between 1945 and 1978. Before 1945 there would have been an R in front of Lalique. After 1978 there would have been a trademark symbol ® between the words Lalique and France.
